Today's post will be the last for a while. I'm headed out of town and will be "unplugged" for the next week. I plan to finish the last week of the color challenge when I return. Until then, here is the latest.

Here is my little springtime bear - like the way the grass and sky turned out. The rest is OK, I guess. Keep telling myself it is practice!

Baby Gift Basket
We have friends who are expecting a little boy, so I made this baby basket for them. HUGE baseball Cardinal fans, so I figured the little guy will pick up the Fan-tashia! Hope they like it :0) First pic is the hand made blanket, second all the items I included in the basket, and third, basket is ready to give.
Cards I Created
Here are a couple cards I created. One is my first Spinner card using the Ai stamp and the second is done with Heartfelt Creations Peacock Paisley collection of papers, stamps and flower dies.
Color Challenge - Day 19
Been a little busy the past couple of days, but took some time out today for crafting. Here is the coloring I did for our challenge.

Color Challenge - Day 16
Still need some practice on how to identify a light source, and blending the shading correctly, but still think this guy is cute. Added some Wink A Stella to the ears, belly and bow to help "jazz it up".
Latest Crochet Project - Cardinal Blanket
Made this blanket for my hubby, but he may have to fight our grandson for it - LOL!! I guess I will be making another in the near future. Purchased Pattern from AngelsCrochetedGifts ETSY Shop (https://www.etsy.com/transaction/221435945)

Color Challenge - Day 15
Really messed up today's project - first I cut the paper crooked, then I really messed up the shading, but - what I really wanted to do was practice how to get scales on this little dragon - not sure if I will use or throw away the thing, what do you think? I do like the way the scales turned out though.

Color Challenge - Day 14
Last day of posting my floral creations. Next week I'm going to focus on animals (and maybe some birds). have so many cute stamps that I haven't used yet. Anyway, for today I did a some red poppies and a remake of the pansies I did earlier - this time in all purple, for Christie. They actually look a lot like African Violets when done in this color, don't you think?

Color Challenge - Day 13
Two images today -- nothing but storms all day, so I needed a little "Spring" -- the birdies could have been better, but cheered me up looking at them while I colored :0)

Color Challenge - Day 12
Today I tackled one of the most difficult images so far - the detail made shading rather difficult. Hopefully, it looks OK - What do you think?

Color Challenge - Day 11
Today I worked on an image I had printed on some old photo paper. I didn't think it would make much different, but to my dismay, the markers did not blend well at all! I was trying out using a digital stamp that already had areas shaded. On the one leaf I used different markers and tried to blend together. All the others, I just used a green alcohol marker and colored over the already shaded areas. For the flowers, I used a couple different markers, but was not too happy with the blending effect -- so I pulled out some of my Spectrum Noir blending pencils and I really like the result I got, despite the paper I used.
Color Challenge - Day 10
Busy day yesterday, so I decided to finish a project started in a "light source" workshop I attended at the Scrapbook Expo. This card was created using outline stickers (which I simply love!). I did the skirt with Copic markers, and experimented for the first time with Copic White highlights. The baked goods were finished with my Spectrum Noir. Overall, I like the result, but the white highlights are a bit edgy and thick - next time I will use a thinner brush to apply.

Color Challenge Day 9 - 2 versions
Today I decided to experiment with adding some additional color to my flowers by using the Spectrum Noir blending pencils. The first photo is with only the markers (the same colors I used on the pansies yesterday). The second, I added some "pop" with the blending pencils - got a little carried away with the one petal at the top, but what a remarkable difference!
Color Challenge - Day 8 (first Floral)
Today is the first day I'm experimenting with floral coloring - I did one like this in a class last year and had an extra copy of the image printed out so I started with it, but this time, I added some lavender petals to it - what do you think??

Final day of "faces and people". Next week I will switch and work on florals and nature - Not too sure I've got perfected the face coloring yet, but I will return to it when I've finished the challenge and hope I can get better --
